This is much, much later, the teak cockpit sole on the bench in the shop prior to laying caulking in. I layed this out on a CAD system to get the spacing right, then cast 2 layers of fibreglass to the dimensions, trimmed that, made the frame, cut and routed the edges of all the strips, and glued the whole thing up on the bench.
